England’s massive FIFA World Cup Quarter Final against France on 10 December promises to be a mouth-watering affair.
Rice being fully fit and ready to go will be crucial to any chances Southgate’s team has of progressing, he’s had a solid tournament so far.
The update from Phillips via Dorsett couldn’t have come at a better time, with kick-off just days away in what will be arguably the tournament’s most hotly contested game yet.
It really is a 50/50 matchup and it’s hard to predict who will come out on top in this one, both teams have weapons in their arsenal to win a tough game.
France’s Kylian Mbappe offers the biggest threat towards England’s progressing and he will have to be closely marked out of the game if the Three Lions stand any chance of progressing.
Whatever the case may be, having Rice fit and firing gives England a better chance at going through, with luck, he’ll be ready to start the game.
