Declan Rice West Ham United stay until 2025 on the cards – Dharmesh Sheth
Declan Rice could still potentially stay at West Ham United this summer with a blank cheque to secure his services being put on the table, according to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth.
Will he? Won’t he? The speculation surrounding Rice’s name is rife at the moment and it’s expected to continue long into the summer months.
Nevertheless, Sheth confessed that West Ham United are under “no pressure” to sell Rice, with the midfielder still under contract at the club until potentially 2025.

“I just think there’s no pressure as such for West Ham United to sell,” said Sheth as quoted by GIVEMESPORT.
“I think he’s got a contract that runs until 2024 with a club option of a further year, so we can still say he’s got a contract at West Ham United until 2025.
“So West Ham can put whatever price they want on him.”

Impressive.
Rice was extremely impressive for England in the FIFA World Cup and has only added fuel to the fire that he’s a top player who is here to stay.
It’s no surprise that top clubs are after his signature, especially after elite performances on the World stage, it will be tough for the Hammers to keep hold of him.
Nevertheless, as Sheth suggested, the Irons are in a solid position on this one and hold all the cards in whatever negotiations will take place.
In reality, they could price teams out of making a move for Rice if they wished and the club should demand nothing less than a £100m fee.
Talents like Rice don’t come along too often and if the Hammers are to sell him, they need to receive a fair price for the defensive midfielder.
If Jack Grealish is going for £100m+ then there is no reason why West Ham United can’t ask the same for Rice, who is arguably better than the Manchester City man.
