West Ham United have now agreed on personal terms with Lyon midfielder Lucas Paqueta, according to Fabrizio Romano in the past 24 hours.
The reliable journalist has reported that the Irons have had a new direct call with Lyon to push for a fee agreement, with the agents of the Brazilian currently in London.
It is said that dealing with the French club has never been easy, with talks likely continuing to try and find a middle ground on the eventual fee and how it is structured.

We have been on the verge of many transfers, but there always seems to be some fresh trouble out of nowhere at the last hurdle before any deal can be confirmed.
Paqueta clearly wants to be at the London Stadium and has now agreed on terms, something that should push the deal towards completion.
Could the Brazilian force this one through if Lyon continues to play hardball? We think so.
