West Ham United press hard to sign German defender Thilo Kehrer as Issa Diop set for exit
West Ham are pressing hard to sign German defender Thilo Kehrer, according to a report from Evening Standard.
The newspaper reported on their online version on 8 August that the Hammers are “pushing” for a move for the Paris Saint-Germain defender, with Issa Diop likely to leave.
ExWHUemployee shared on his Patreon on 6 August that West Ham have joined a host of clubs in the race to sign the 25-year-old.

Good move?
Diop is all set to leave the club. The French defender didn’t feature against Manchester City and David Moyes made it clear it was not due to injury.
Dharmesh Sheth of Sky Sports reported on Twitter on 8 August that Diop will undergo his medical at Fulham this week, while Jacob Steinberg has shared that a fee of around £15 million has been agreed.
With Diop leaving, West Ham need to delve into the market to add a replacement.
Steinberg reported that the Hammers are looking to sign a centre-back, a left-back and a midfielder before the end of the window.

Despite signing Nayef Aguerd, the Hammers are lacking in depth at the moment. Angelo Ogbonna is still not fit, while Craig Dawson is injured.
Kehrer is a solid centre-back who can also operate as a left-back, and a player who appeals to the club.
The Germany international joined PSG in 2018 and has made over 125 appearances for the club in all competitions. He would be a fantastic addition to the squad.
