West Ham United plot transfer bid for Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher with David Moyes keen
West Ham are reportedly plotting a “daring” transfer bid for Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher in the final few days of the window.
According to the Sun, David Moyes is keen on the England international moving to the London Stadium for the 2022/23 campaign.
The Hammers boss wants to add energy and pace into the Hammers midfield and has deemed the 22-year-old as an ideal option to bring in on loan.

Makes sense
West Ham have lodged a new £9.2million bid for Club Brugge midfielder Hans Vanaken, but that is expected to be rejected.
We’re unsure if the Hammers will come in with another bid for the Belgian and there’s a good chance that Moyes prioritises someone tried and tested in the Premier League.
Gallagher has proven his worth on loan at West Brom previously and has done the same at Crystal Palace last season.
Even in Chelsea’s 3-0 loss against Leeds, the England midfielder was one of the few shining sparks for the Blues.
In a World Cup year, he would want to play regularly as Gareth Southgate will be looking at him as a possibility for Qatar 2022.
He’s not going to be a regular at Chelsea, but will be one of the first names on the team sheet at the London Stadium.
This is a move that makes sense for all parties involved and the Blues too, may not want to lose the midfielder permanently so they could agree to let him leave on loan and charge a small fee.
