No chance of West Ham United selling Declan Rice in January transfer window
There is no chance that West Ham United sell Declan Rice in the January transfer window, according to journalist Simon Phillips.
This news will be music to the ears of Hammers following comments from the EXWHUemployee that the club may do so if a “ridiculous” offer came in for Rice next month.
Phillips, however, looks to have shut down the rumours of a January switch for the Irons captain, confessing that there is “no chance” the London club sell him.

“We’ve been told for months now that Rice is going to be a priority target for Chelsea come the summer,” said Phillips as quoted by GIVEMESPORT.
“There’s no chance, I don’t think, of him moving in January.”

Interesting.
It’s interesting to hear the contrasting views of the journalist and Ex on the matter of Rice leaving the club in January.
Both are reputable and their guesses are as good as anyone’s on where Rice’s future lies, but it does seem unlikely the Hammers would let him go in January.
No club is likely going to cough up the “ridiculous” fee that Ex suggests would prize away the England international next month, especially straight after a World Cup.
A summer switch away from the London Stadium seems a more likely outcome in the Rice ordeal and the Hammers need to get every penny they can for him.
Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool have all been rumoured to be in with a shout of landing Rice and this bodes well for West Ham United.
The London club can start a bidding war for their prized captain and rinse their Premier League rivals as much as they possibly can.
