talkSPORT broadcaster Tom Rennie makes prediction on David Moyes future at West Ham United
talkSPORT broadcaster Tom Rennie believes David Moyes is likely to stay on as West Ham manager beyond this season.
Moyes, who has spent six seasons as United manager across two spells, is due to be out of contract at the end of the campaign.
Many have turned against the Scotsman once again following the 5-0 defeat to Fulham on Sunday (10 December).
Responding to a comment on Twitter in which someone said they “can both appreciate everything Moyes has done for us but also be frustrated with our style of play,” Rennie replied [12 December]: “This is exactly right. Though I think he’s more likely to stay than not.”
Stability
Moyes’s future has been a hot topic of debate for a while now, and will continue to be so until any news is forthcoming on his contract.
Even in the heat of the moment of the embarrassing loss at the weekend, the Scotsman at least deserves to see out this campaign.
After all, the former Manchester United boss has money in the bank after guiding the club to Europa Conference League success last season.

However, that is not to say he has earned the right to stay on as London Stadium boss forever, and a change next summer might be for the best.
If nothing else, Moyes provides West Ham with stability, but many supporters are excited at the thought of gambling on a new manager.
If Moyes does indeed move on, he should depart with the full gratitude of the United fanbase. For now, though, both the 60-year-old and United supporters are in the dark.
In other West Ham news, an American businessman has emerged as an interested party in purchasing a 10-per-cent stake in the club.
