West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice tipped to become best in the world
West Ham midfielder Declan Rice could become the best midfielder in the world in the near future as per Bournemouth defender Ryan Fredericks.
The former Hammers defender has hailed him as “world-class” and suggests that the London club won’t be willing to sell him.
Rice has rejected contract offers from the Hammers so far, but the Hammers have placed a £150million price tag on his head.

“I doubt that West Ham are just going to want to sell him on. In my eyes, I think the way I’ve seen him in games and training, I think he’s already world-class,” said Fredericks on TalkSPORT.
“From what I’ve seen I think he can go to another level. I don’t think he is far off it now, but I think he will be the best midfielder in the world in the next couple of years.
“I am not saying that because he is a good mate of mine but from what I’ve seen he has got everything. He can literally do anything on a football pitch, anything with the ball. Hopefully he has a nightmare on Monday night.”
Three points
Rice is now the captain of the side following the departure of Mark Noble, who retired after the end of last season.
The 23-year-old has grown into one of the best midfielders in the league, and he will be one of the first names on the team sheet in Gareth Southgate’s squad for the World Cup in Qatar.
He has grown into a top-class player and obviously there is a lot of interest in him.

West Ham want to keep hold of their star player who is yet to fulfill his full potential. He harbors the desire to play in the Champions League, and at some point, the Hammers may have to part ways with him.
The Hammers have been doing really well under David Moyes, and they need to push for the top four this season.
After a poor start to the season, it seems like they have found their momentum back.
David Moyes’s side were really unlucky against Liverpool in their last game, and need to bounce back to winning ways against the Cherries.
