West Ham United meet with agents of Brazilian striker Vitor Roque

West Ham, Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur all reportedly met with the agents of Athletico Paranaense striker Vitor Roque recently.

According to Globo [03 April], even Barcelona have touched base with the representatives of the in-demand Brazilian striker.

It’s understood that Athletico see him as one of the biggest assets in Brazilian football and are sticking to the valuation of £37million in order to sanction a summer exit.

West Ham

Too many big names

For West Ham to sign the 18-year-old, they’re going to have to beat the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool and Spurs.

All three clubs will offer him higher wages and the opportunity to play European football while at the Hammers, the priority will be to avoid relegation.

The Hammers also do not need a striker who walks into the playing eleven as they’ve got Gianluca Scamacca so they can’t even tempt the Brazilian with more game time.

West Ham

He appears to be one of the most highly-coveted teenagers in world football today and it will be surprising if he is not on the move in the summer.

There have recently been reports of Chelsea and Arsenal entering the race too and it seems like there’s not one big side that isn’t considering him.

For any West Ham fans getting excited over these links, it’s important to realise that it’s not going to be easy signing him given the other teams in the race.
