West Ham United managerial target Maurizio Sarri faces uncertain future at Lazio
Former Chelsea manager and current Lazio boss Maurizio Sarri is reportedly facing an uncertain future at the club amid links to West Ham.
According to Il Messaggero [13 February], the Lazio president Claudio Lotito is acting a peacemaker as Sarri has had behind-the-scenes clashes.
Despite his contract running out until 2025, he is facing an uncertain future at the club and the Hammers are keeping tabs on developments.

Hire him
The West Ham board are perhaps waiting until the end of the season to make a managerial change as not much can be expected from this season.
Qualifying for Europe now seems like a distant dream and unless they’re in the relegation zone, they are not expected to part ways with David Moyes.
He’s got enough credit in the back for them to trust him to avoid the drop and if they feel that results aren’t improving, they may pull the trigger.

After what he’s done over the last two seasons, sacking him seems harsh, especially after there is harmony behind the scenes.
The squad is good enough and results are expected to improve with there being a number of game changers in the squad.
However, in the summer, a change could be made and Sarri, who’s already in consideration at the London Stadium, would be an ideal replacement.
