West Ham United make transfer decision on Divock Origi as AC Milan fail to agree Gianluca Scamacca deal
West Ham have reportedly made their decision on former Liverpool striker Divock Origi as AC Milan offer him in exchange for Gianluca Scamacca.
According to Calciomercato [8 July], the Hammers have opted against the swap as they do not want to sign the Champions League-winning Belgium international.
They’re also not keen on letting Scamacca leave on loan after signing him for big money last summer.

Good decision
Origi is no longer that player who won the Champions League with Liverpool and it does not make sense to sign him.
He might be Premier League proven, but he’s on the decline and he isn’t someone David Moyes would want to work with.
A couple of years ago, a move to the London Stadium would’ve made sense as the club had not yet replaced Sebastien Haller.

Michail Antonio has led the line but his goals have dried down as well and that’s perhaps why they signed Scamacca.
The Italian has struggled in the Premier League but that’s fair as players tend to take time to adapt to the Premier League after joining from the Serie A.
Hopefully, he does a better job next season and Moyes manages to bring the best out of him as he’s certainly a talented striker.
In other West Ham news, an injury expert has claimed that Moyes’ physical demands could see another star player seek a London Stadium exit this summer.
