West Ham United make contact to reignite last-minute Deadline Day Ibrahim Osman transfer
West Ham United have contacted Nordsjaelland on transfer deadline day to reignite a move for Ibrahim Osman, according to Knees up Mother Brown.
The outlet reported on its website on Thursday (1 February) that the Hammers have made contact with the Norwegian outfit over the Ghanaian winger after a potential move fell through earlier in the January window.
But West Ham representatives have now been in touch with Osman and his entourage in order to try and work out a last-minute deal ahead of Thursday night’s deadline, despite previous problems with the winger’s agents in the window.
Keep an eye
This deal had appeared to be dead and buried only a matter of days ago, but now it seems that Osman could well be ready to make the switch to the London Stadium in the final hours of the January window.
David Moyes has wanted a new wide option throughout the start of 2024 and the need for reinforcements has only become greater now that both Said Benrahma and Pablo Fornals look set to leave East London ahead of Thursday night’s deadline.

Whether or not the Irons will be able to move past the issues that put the breaks on Osman’s deal originally remains to be seen, but it does seem clear that West Ham United are very keen to get this transfer over the line and will work up until the deadline to sign the Ghanaian.
Hopefully, the Hammers can thrash out this deal in the next few hours and then they will face a race against time to get a medical completed and contracts signed. However, if this deal falls through again, the Irons may not have time to get an alternative option through the door.
