West Ham United make behind the scenes move to sign Dango Ouattara ahead of Everton
West Ham have reportedly made a move behind the scenes along with Everton in order to sign Lorient striker Dango Ouattara in the January transfer window.
According to Media Foot [12 January], the two Premier League sides are intent on bringing the 20-year-old striker to their respective clubs.
Lorient are expected to be open to a sale if any club can shell out a fee in the region of £8.8million with a number of clubs vying for his services.

Needed
West Ham will certainly need to sign a striker in the January transfer window if their talisman Michail Antonio ends up leaving.
The Hammers ideally would not have wanted to sign on number 9 and instead would have focused on bringing in a new Central midfielder.
However, given the interest of Wolves in signing the Jamaica international it now remains to be seen what the priority is for the London-based club.

It’s pretty evident that the Hammers are not doing what they’re expected to in the Premier League the season. And the buck certainly stops with the manager.
He knows that it’s his job on the line, if the results are not satisfactory, according to the board and a fairly vast section of the fanbase.
David Moyes has a couple of weeks to make his case to the board as he’s the one who’s going to have to work with the new recruits until the end of the season.
