West Ham United loanee Emmanuel Longelo scores for Birmingham City
West Ham loanee Emmanuel Longelo scored a cracking for Birmingham City in the Championship clash against Queens Park Rangers on Friday (28 October).
Birmingham took the lead through Auston Trusty in the 4th minute, before Longelo added another in the first half.
Sky Sports shared the footage on their Twitter handle and described it as a “brilliant” finish.
Longelo joined Birmingham City on loan this summer. The left-back has heavily impressed, and has now scored a cracking goal which should give him loads of confidence.
He has adapted to life well in the Championship, and David Moyes will be very pleased with his progress, and likewise the fanbase.
Longelo, however, has a contract at the London Stadium until 2023, and it will be a catastrophe if the club allow him to leave for free, like what teenage sensation Sonny Perkins did this summer.

The Hammers must offer the 21-year-old a new contract. He has been attracting interest from other Premier League clubs, like Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest, as reported by ExWHUemployee on June 13.
West Ham already rejected an offer from Forest for the left-back, and the Hammers could face a fight to keep him at the club.
To be fair, Moyes can use him for the senior side next season. He has the likes of Aaron Cresswell and Emerson Palmieri at his disposal, but the Hammers boss can use young talents like Longelo in other cup competitions.
It’s so frustrating to lose academy talents to other clubs. Allowing him to leave for free doesn’t represent a smart idea. After watching this performance, the club should start planning to offer him a new deal once he returns after the loan spell.
