West Ham United lead Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle in race to sign Leicester City ace Harvey Barnes
West Ham are reportedly leading Tottenham, Newcastle and Aston Villa in the race to sign Leicester City attacker Harvey Barnes this summer.
According to the Telegraph [08 June], the Hammers front the queue for the one-cap England international and is among their top targets with a transfer on cards post their relegation.
The 25-year-old is on the back of a successful individual campaign where he bagged 13 goals and provided an assist in the Premier League, but it was not enough to keep the Foxes up.

Sign him
West Ham are craving for someone who’s consistent on the left flank who can also provide a goal threat and in Barnes they have that man.
He’s quick, skilful and capable of turning defence into attack in no time with his sheer pace and ability to run past defenders.
There’s every reason to believe that he’ll thrive in this current Hammers system and money should not even be an issue given that they’re going to raise plenty from Declan Rice’s sale.
Barnes strengthens their eleven and may even be tempted to move to the London Stadium because they can offer him European football.
Spurs, despite their riches, do not have that lure and it’s good to see West Ham leading Newcastle in the race to sign a player.
Leicester being in the Championship will also help the Hammers get a very good deal for Barnes and this could turn out to be a top quality investment.
