West Ham United keeping ‘close tabs’ on Georginio Wijnaldum after PSG summer exit
West Ham United are keeping “close tabs” on Geroginio Wijnaldum after PSG sanctioned an exit for the 31-year-old midfielder this summer, according to 90min.
The Dutch midfielder featured 31 times for PSG in Ligue 1 last season, scoring once and notching three assists for the French side.
90min have reported on Friday 24 June, that Leicester are showing a strong interest in the 31-year-old with the Hammers, and Wolves all keeping “close tabs” on the situation.

Let him go elsewhere
Wijnaldum has shown that he is a good player over the years and has Premier League experience with Liverpool, but it is important to remember that the PSG midfielder is now in the latter stages of his career and is likely to decline.
Furthermore, the Netherlands international will be demanding high wages that would match some of the best earners at the London Stadium.

A 31-year-old midfielder in the latter stages of his career cannot be on the same amount of money as some of the Hammers’ most valuable assets.
Moyes wants to be active in the transfer market but also needs to make sure he acquires value for money and throwing high wages at a declining Wijnaldum is not the answer.
Nevertheless, it would be a shock to see the midfielder make the move to the London Stadium.
With Nayef Aguerd kicking off Moyes’ transfer business, the Hammers will be looking to get a number of deals over the line in the coming weeks and months.
