West Ham United keen to sign RB Leipzig full-back Angelino

West Ham are showing keen interest in signing RB Leipzig full-back Angelino, as reported by La Voz de Galicia.

The Spanish publication reported on 31 July that a host of clubs including Brighton and Hoffenheim have shown interest in the player.

David Moyes is desperate to sign a new left-back this summer, and wants to sign the player “immediately”.

Possible

The report shares that Angelino’s days are numbered in Germany.

He is facing an uncertain future at the club, following the arrival of Germany international David Raum. The 25-year-old could be allowed to leave on loan as well.

Angelino has proved to be a success in Germany since his departure from Manchester City. In the past two and a half years, he has managed 98 games, where he scored 12 goals and provided 28 assists.

The defender is waiting to find a new team, and West Ham could feel they have a chance here.

The Hammers showed interest in signing Filip Kostic, but he has decided to stay in Germany. Angelino would be a decent signing for the club.

He is primarily an attacking left-back who is also capable of playing in left-midfield as well – ideally what Moyes wants at the moment.

He has got loads of experience, and the Hammers could get him at a reasonable price as well.
