West Ham United: Journalist shares exact time Arthur Masuaku should land in Turkey
West Ham United defender Arthur Masuaku is on his way to Istanbul and Gokmen Ozcan has shared the exact time he is due to land.
The 28-year-old is closing in on a loan to Turkish Super League side Besiktas which will include an option to buy the Democratic Republic of Congo international at the end of the season.
With an agreement between the two clubs reached, Masuaku has jetted off to the Turkish capital to finalise proceedings and Ozcan, a journalist for Fanatik, believes his plane is due to land at 12:05am on Tuesday morning.
The left-back was a rare feature of David Moyes’ West Ham side last season with only a handful of starts and one solitary goal to his name and that poor form has seen his time at the London Stadium come to an end.
The Irons are set to cover a portion of Masuaku’s salary during the season-long loan, as reported by Turkish journalist Sercan Dikme on Twitter.
Follow through
It is all well and good Besiktas taking him on loan and having the option to purchase him come next summer but for the sake of West Ham, they really need to follow through on that and actually pay up.

The Hammers could do with every penny they can get right now as they look to build a squad that can not only qualify for European competitions but compete in them on a regular basis.
Masuaku was never going to be a player capable of doing that at Rush Green and it is a shame that the club are still having to pay a good portion of his wages while he plays for Besiktas.
Aaron Cresswell now has a lot of pressure on his shoulders though as the only natural left-back at the club and if he starts to pick up niggling injuries or suspensions then Moyes will find himself very short of players at the back unless he can make a signing soon.
