West Ham United: Joe Cole shares ‘exceptional’ David Moyes sack verdict live on TNT Sports
West Ham United manager David Moyes has done an “exceptional job” in the London Stadium dugout.
That is according to former Hammers ace Joe Cole, who has “banged the drum” for the boss since he first joined the club.
The verdict comes amid sack talk regarding the Scot, who guided the Hammers to the Europa Conference League trophy last season.
“I’ve banged the drum for David Moyes right from the start,” Cole said on TNT Sports 1 (5.04pm, 14 March). “I think he’s done an exceptional job, and I don’t understand the difficulties.”
Is David Moyes still under pressure at West Ham?
Moyes has seemingly been under constant pressure at the London Stadium, with sack talk constantly emerging.
That comes despite the manager doing a superb job in East London, the highlight of which was the European success at the end of last season.
But there has also been impressive Premier League finishes, which certainly hasn’t always been the case with the Hammers.
Moyes has come under criticism from many supporters of the club, often due to his supposed defensive and unattractive style of play.
But is has been effective more often than not, with the manager grinding out many huge results over the years.
The manager’s future at the London Stadium remains up in the air, with his contract set to expire at the end of the season.

A decision will likely not be made until that time, with Moyes simply needing to focus on matters on the pitch between now and the summer.
