Jeff Stelling predicts West Ham United clash v Leicester City in Premier League

Jeff Stelling thinks things will go from bad to worse for David Moyes and West Ham United in their Premier League clash with Leicester City on Saturday 12th November.

West Ham crashed out of the Carabao Cup on penalties on Wednesday evening against Blackburn further mounting the pressure on Moyes’ job.

Sky Sports Soccer Saturday host Stelling expects West Ham to suffer their third successive defeat this weekend too, writing on the Super 6 website that he predicts the game against Leicester to end in a 2-1 loss to the Foxes.

Frustrating.

It’s been a frustrating few weeks for fans at the London Stadium and just as the Hammers looked to be out of their rut they’ve become embroiled in another.

Despite a host of changes made on Wednesday evening, Moyes’ side still should have easily beaten Championship side Blackburn Rovers.

Things are starting to go south quickly for Moyes with many fans claiming he isn’t the man to guide the Irons forward to better days.

West Ham

And to be fair, they’ve got a point, this is the best West Ham United team on paper the club has seen in years and the performances just aren’t cutting it.

Moyes’ tactics have to come under scrutiny for this and the more West Ham struggles the more likely he’ll be relieved of his duties.

Things can change quickly in the modern game, however, and Moyes still has time on his side, the Leicester fixture on Saturday provides a perfect chance at redemption.

West Ham United will be desperate for these three points, a job may depend on it.
