West Ham United: Jarrod Bowen exit claim emerges after ‘shock’ development in London
West Ham will struggle to keep hold of the in-form Jarrod Bowen as he registered his 18th goal contribution of the season, according to Daily Mail.
The national news outlet reported [29 December] that the Englishman has continued to be the shining light at the London Stadium as the Hammers registered a “shock” victory against Arsenal on Thursday night.
Bowen has tallied up 13 goals and five assists this season, already matching his goalscoring record from last season. However, it could be a battle to keep the star player for West Ham as he goes from strength to strength.

Talent production for top four club
It would be very harsh on the Hammers to see Bowen leave the club during the January transfer window or at the end of the season. But with the eye-watering price tags currently being spoken about for the winger-turned-striker, it would be difficult to turn down any offers that do come in.
West Ham lost their captain Declan Rice during the summer, with Arsenal splashing out £105million on the midfielder. And the club have done well to invest the money, with Mohammed Kudus and Edson Alvarez impressing so far.
However, Bowen was an investment from three seasons ago and has more than paid back the belief David Moyes has put in him. The 27-year-old has tallied up 53 goals and 36 assists in 182 appearances, with his most important goal coming against Fiorentina in the Europa Conference League final last season.

With Lucas Paqueta also linked with a move away, Hammers fans will begin to sweat at the thought of any transfer window for the foreseeable future. But it is clear that Bowen loves the club and it would take a special move to draw him away from the Hammers.
If West Ham are able to hold onto their best players and continue to build around them with Moyes, West Ham could reach new heights with the Premier League top six in their sights, as well as the Europa League title.
In other West Ham news, a star player failed a late fitness test ahead of the game.
