West Ham United in talks with Arthur Masuaku and Besiktas amid transfer uncertainty
West Ham-owned Arthur Masuaku is reportedly facing uncertainty despite the ongoing talks over his exit with Besiktas.
According to TRT Haber [11 April], even if he plays another 45 minutes for the Turkish club, the contract clause in the loan deal will be activated and that will make his signing permanent on a three-year deal.
The deal will be in the region of £2million with Besiktas expected to pay it in four instalments, but they’re still looking to bring down the price.

Sell him
Masuaku going on loan was a sign to everyone that the club does not see him having a future in London and it’s best if they part ways for good.
It remains to be seen if West Ham will bring down the price as this is a pre-discussed valuation and needs to be paid up.
Should he play next, the clause will automatically make him a permanent transfer for Besiktas and then they’ll have to pay the entire amount.

The next few days will be crucial as the Hammers certainly hold the upper hand in this negotiation and the move should go ahead, unless something dramatic happens.
However, this is not something most West Ham fans will be bothered about as all they care about is staying in the Premier League.
David Moyes’ job is also on the line and there have been updates on the club’s stance to replace him with Graham Potter so that’s something to keep an eye on.
