West Ham United in talks to sign Hirving Lozano as Napoli set price tag
West Ham United are in talks with Napoli to potentially sign Mexican winger Hirving Lozano, according to Tutto Mercato.
The 26-year-old winger has fallen out of favour in Naples after a £35million move to the club from PSV Eindhoven in 2019 and now the club are keen to sell him if they can.
West Ham are one of the teams most interested in a deal at this early stage having already been in concrete conversations with the Italians and they won’t have to pay anywhere near what they paid three years ago.

In fact, Napoli only values the 58-time Mexican international at £17million having scored 26 goals in 114 appearances for the club since his arrival from the Netherlands.
Opportunity
David Moyes must be sitting bolt upright in his office chair right now hearing that Lozano is available for such a bargain price.
He stormed onto the world stage in 2018 as he shone for his nation at the Russia World Cup and since then has played the majority of his games for both club and country until the second half of last season where he was more utilised as a substitute.

It is easy to forget that he is still only 26 years of age so could conceivably have another seven or eight years at the top of his game before the big drop-off begins at roughly 34.
To get that amount of time out of him would be incredible but even if he only were to stay for three or four years before another big-money move, West Ham would still get their money’s worth out of him.
He is exactly the kind of player Moyes has been crying out for to play on the opposite side to Jarrod Bowen and complete a very potent attacking trio, especially if he can bring in another striker to help along Michail Antonio.
