West Ham United in hunt to sign Watford forward Joao Pedro
West Ham United are showing an interest in signing Watford striker Joao Pedro, according to West Ham Way.
The Hammers have been previously linked with the talented striker who has netted 11 goals and registered four goals for the Hornets in the Championship this season, with Brazilian news outlet UOL revealing last year [May 2022] the East Londoners’ interest.
Despite his deal not expiring at Vicarage Road for another five years, the Hornets’ likely failure to secure promotion this season means that he could look for a move elsewhere this summer.

“Alex Scott, a midfielder at Bristol City, is a player the club have scoured and admired, as well as Coventry City striker Viktor Gyökeres.”
“The club are also showing an interest in Joao Pedro of Watford and Max Aaron’s of Norwich City”, West Ham Way reveals [19 April].
Get Him in
West Ham United will be seeking out plenty of attacking reinforcements this summer with the likes of Michail Antonio and Gianluca Scamacca reportedly facing uncertain futures at the London Stadium and Pedro represents an attractive and intriguing proposition for the club to exploit this summer.
Pedro is Watford’s standout performer right and with the prolific qualities that he possesses in the final third, it is a move the East Londoners will be silly to pass up on.

The Brazilian talisman has racked up 15 goal contributions (11 goals and four assists) in 33 Championship appearances this season and has bagged an outstanding ten man-of-the-match awards during that time, with his form and movement in tight spaces seeing him become one of the most exciting young strikers in the country.
The Hornets star is also always looking to produce moments of magic even when he’s not on the scoresheet, ranking in the 99th percentile for successful take-ons alongside recording 107 shot-creating actions this season, the highest of any Watford player and even in the West Ham United squad too, highlighting just how much attacking class he could provide the Hammers next season.
Providing West Ham secure their Premier League status for next season, the club should go all out to sign this exceptionally gifted striker who could swiftly become a household name in East London.
