West Ham United hope to reach agreement with Thilo Kehrer as talks underway
West Ham hope to reach agreement with Paris Saint-Germain defender Thilo Kehrer, as per ExWHUemployee.
The reliable Hammers source wrote on his Patreon on 12 August that the Hammers will continue to hold talks with the club over the transfer fee on Friday (12 August).
However, the next big hurdle will be to convince the player to join the club this summer.

Ex wrote on his Patreon: “Talks will continue with the Thilo Kehrer of PSG today and it is thought we might soon reach an agreement with the club for the fee. Convincing the player is the next hurdle to join.”
Get it done
The Hammers need to sign a defender this summer and they cannot afford to miss out on him.
Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth wrote on Twitter on 10 August that the Hammers have come up with an “improved” offer after their opening bid was rejected.
Sheth reported on 9 August that the Hammers have tabled an opening offer for the German international.
Adding a new defender has become a priority following the departure of Issa Diop and the injury to Nayef Aguerd.

Also, Florian Plettenberg, the Sky Sports journalist wrote on Twitter on 10 August PSG are expecting an offer of around £16.8m.
Sevilla have also made an offer to sign the Germany international, and he suggested that the Hammers have a good chance of securing a deal here.
West Ham meanwhile are looking at other options as well. Turkish journalist Omer Celikbasli reported on 9 August that West Ham have made a bid for Attila Szalai while Gianluca Di Marzio reported on 12 August that an offer has been made to sign Polish centre-back Jakub Kiwior.
It looks like the Hammers are working on several deals, but Kehrer would be a fantastic addition.
