West Ham United hope Chelsea sack Graham Potter soon amid David Moyes pressure
West Ham United “may be hoping” that Chelsea manager Graham Potter becomes available if they are to replace David Moyes, according to Claret & Hugh.
The east Londoners suffered a damaging 2-0 defeat at Tottenham on Sunday, heaping more and more pressure on the under-fire Moyes to quickly get results back on track.
The Hammers find themselves in the midst of a Premier League relegation battle, currently sitting 18th after winning just five matches all campaign.

The defeat at Spurs has led to many calling for Moyes’ head, with The Times [20 February] reporting that he could be dismissed if West Ham lose to Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
According to club insider Claret & Hugh [20 February] the pool of available managers who could appeal to the West Ham board is alarmingly thin.
While they appear stuck with Moyes for the time being, they could see Potter as a potentially viable candidate amid his torrid run at Stamford Bridge.
As per C&H, the Irons ‘may be hoping’ Brighton’s former coach ‘could soon become available’.
Fans won’t mind
If Potter was to become available and Moyes still stuck in a mud at the London Stadium, the club board certainly won’t be hard-pressed to jump at the chance of acquiring the former Brighton & Hove Albion manager.
The Hammers fans certainly won’t mind either. And it’s quite staggering how the promising coach is being written off because of the difficulty he’s facing at Stamford Bridge.

Operating on a shoestring budget, Potter also guided Brighton to a ninth-placed finish last season with his side scoring an impressive 42 goals, as well as two top-flight safety campaigns the previous two years.
Certainly, his tenure at Chelsea has been rather torrid and dreadful so far, but that’s no fault of his own but the Blues board. West Ham may just provide him with the ideal platform to rejuvenate a promising managerial career if he’s let go at Stamford Bridge.
This could be one to watch in the coming months.
