West Ham United held Christophe Galtier talks amid David Moyes sack decision
West Ham United have held talks with former PSG boss Christophe Galtier before deciding to stick with David Moyes, according to 90min.
The Scot found himself under considerable pressure at certain points during the 2022/23 season but clung on to his job after a memorable Conference League triumph.
90min report on 15 June that talks were held with representatives of Marco Silva and Paulo Fonseca over succeeding Moyes at the London Stadium.

Galtier was also sounded out – and it’s believed he was willing to move to England.
Big call
It was certainly a big call to stick by Moyes.
It’s one the board will now ride or die on. With one more year left on his contract, there is a way out for the board if things don’t go to plan next season.
However, it will feel like a campaign wasted from the Hammers’ perspective. If the team endure another difficult domestic campaign, then the decision to stick by Moyes will look like a foolish one.

With a new director of football on the cards. There’s an opportunity for a new structure to be implemented at West Ham. It’s fair to say the decision to give Mark Noble the role didn’t quite work out.
A sophisticated football brain has to arrive in order for the Hammer to progress on the pitch.
With Declan Rice also set to depart, there’s an opportunity for significant investment to occur. With Manchester City and Arsenal both vying for Rice, there’s a strong chance David Sullivan will land the £100million-plus he’s after.
