West Ham United have no plans to leave England during World Cup
David Moyes won’t take advantage of the time off to take his West Ham squad abroad for a training camp, according to The Athletic.
Many Premier League sides are set to go on short breaks away from England in order to try and get some warm weather training in while the World Cup goes on in Qatar.
But the Irons are not among those expected to jet out of the UK in search of sun and will instead remain on British shores when they return to training on 1 December.

There are friendlies against Cambridge United of League One (6 December) and Premier League Fulham (17 December) scheduled before the season restarts post-Christmas.
Five of Moyes’ West Ham stars are heading to Qatar for the World Cup with Declan Rice (England), Lucas Paqueta (Brazil), Nayef Aguerd (Morocco), Thilo Kehrer (Germany) and Alphonse Areola (France) set to represent their countries.
Missed opportunity
A warm-weather training camp has all kinds of physical benefits that can be measured by the wave of technology at the club’s disposal but more importantly, it could have a huge boost to the mental state of some players.

The pressure of Premier League football has been weighing very heavily on the Irons squad and it has started to tell with form dropping off in recent weeks.
One win in six league games isn’t West Ham form anymore and Moyes has come under pressure as a result so this was the perfect chance to take the majority of the squad away for a short break together to regain some lost morale.
The sun always puts smiles on faces but the Hammers are instead going to be met with typically white November skies and plenty of rain showers which is sure to dampen the mood around the camp ahead of the restart.
