West Ham United have ‘looked’ at Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus
West Ham are have “looked” at Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.
The CBS Sports journalist told on The Football Terrace youtube channel that the Hammers have checked in on the Man City striker, but they are most likely to sign Armando Broja from Chelsea, instead.
Jesus has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal, but as of now, there hasn’t been any deal struck for him.

“Arsenal are very much interested, there isn’t much substance to the Chelsea links, Newcastle have circled in the past,” said Jacobs.
“West Ham have looked at him, but they’re more likely to try and get Armando Broja from Chelsea for a lower fee, so Arsenal can consider themselves in the mix for this deal.
“But, as of yet, they’ve not tabled an offer. They’ve made enquiries, they’ve spoken about terms and they believe they can get a deal over the line.”
Unlikely
Jesus would be a superb signing for the club, but it looks highly unlikely at the moment.
The Brazilian striker has been a prolific goalscorer. He has scored 95 goals in all competitions for City since joining the club in 2016 and has 123 goals in his career thus far.
With City already having secured a deal for Erling Haaland, Jesus feels like he needs to leave to get regular games.
It seems several London clubs are keeping tabs on him, including West Ham.

The Hammers badly need to sign a striker this summer, but they will face strong competition to land Jesus.
The striker, who has been hailed by Pep Guardiola as “incredible” as quoted by The Daily Mail on 23 April, would bring loads of experience and quality to the Hammers’ side.
At 25, he will soon approach the peak years of his career, and the Hammers must at least try to lure him.
In other West Ham news, a deal is on the cards to sign a forward who Moyes once compared to Wayne Rooney.
