West Ham United have chance of signing Ola Aina in January transfer window
West Ham United still have a chance of capturing the signature of Torino defender Ola Aina in January, according to former Eurosport journalist Dean Jones.
David Moyes and West Ham United must be considering some January reinforcements after the Hammers woeful start to the Premier League campaign.
Jones confessed that there is “still a chance” that West Ham United make a move for Aina and he is one of the options they currently have in mind.

“There is still a chance. He is one of the options that they’ve had in mind,” said Jones as quoted by GIVEMESPORT.
“Honestly, there are three or four teams at the moment with him on a shortlist.
“It’s not 100% that he moves in this transfer window at all, but given the amount of interest it does seem like it’s feasible.”
Ticks boxes.
Aina ticks a lot of boxes for the kind of full-back West Ham United would want at the club and his current £30k-per-week wouldn’t take up much of the wage bill. [Salary Sport]
The Torino defender came through the ranks of the Chelsea academy, a renowned football talent factory that has produced multiple gems in recent years.

He spent the 2020/21 season on loan at Fulham and also played in the Championship with Hull City so he is no stranger to English football.
This means he could arguably settle far quicker than other targets from foreign leagues and is definitely something the Irons should consider in this pursuit.
Although his most attractive trait is his versatility, the full-back is more than comfortable playing on either side of the defence which would give Moyes multiple options.
West Ham United may need Aina’s fresh pair of legs at the back as injuries continue to ravage their squad, this one is worth keeping an eye on.
