West Ham United handed boost as Arnaut Danjuma now in London to discuss January move
West Ham appear to have been handed a transfer boost as transfer target Arnaut Danjuma is now reportedly in London as he aims to leave Villarreal.
According to the Athletic journalist David Ornstein, the Netherlands attacker flew into London on the evening of 14 January.
ExWHUemployee reported on 11 January that the Hammers could secure the 25-year-old’s signing who is available on loan this month.
Ornstein wrote on Twitter, “Arnaut Danjuma has this evening flown into London after Villarreal granted permission for 25yo forward to hold talks with clubs over Jan loan move. May include option or obligation to buy. Interest from sides in PL and around Europe.”
The Hammers do need a versatile attacker in January and it seems like the Netherlands international is one of the options they seriously appear to be considering.
Signing Danjuma would make a lot of sense for David Moyes as he is known for his pace, dribbling, and technical ability.

What’s more important is that he’s comfortable with both feet which makes him an ambidextrous player who can play on both wings and also as a central attacking player.
Moyes has played a 4-2-3-1 on occasions this season and instead of playing Paqueta in the hole, he could end up playing Danjuma there.
Not only is he naturally suited to playing there in comparison to the Brazilian, but he can also offer more of a goal-scoring threat, easing the burdens of the central strikers.
West Ham must do everything they can to secure his services, even if it is on loan.
