West Ham United: Gabby Agbonlahor can see Declan Rice fitting in at Arsenal
Gabby Agbonlahor can see Declan Rice “fitting in” perfectly at Arsenal with the midfielder being linked with a move away from West Ham United this summer.
The Guardian reported on 16 January that the Gunners have made Rice their top summer transfer target and are confident of landing his signature.
Agbonlahor confessed that Rice will see what Mikel Arteta’s doing at the Gunners and when that’s combined with the club’s history he doesn’t see why a move wouldn’t happen.

“I do see him fitting in at Arsenal,” said Agbonlahor speaking to TalkSPORT Edge. (11 February)
“I feel that he will look at Arsenal and see if they can win the title and he can see what Arteta’s done, ex-midfielder, see that Arsenal will be playing Champions League football and the history of Arsenal football club I don’t see no reason why not.”

Inevitable.
Rice leaving the London Stadium this summer is inevitable at this point and the Hammers will just have to hope they get as much cash for the maestro as possible.
The January transfer window has highlighted the ridiculous sums that English clubs will now pay for talents and West Ham United must make the most of this.
It would be foolish for West Ham to receive anything under £100m for Rice, the maestro is a generational talent and worth probably upwards of that sum in today’s market.
And with the likes of Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool sniffing around, there is a very good possibility the club will get just that.
Obviously, the sum received from Rice will have to be properly invested in the summer months and the chance to reinvent this Hammers squad can’t go to waste.
It may even give a new manager the perfect amount of funds to create a squad in his own image, that’s if the club parts ways with David Moyes.
