West Ham forward available for Manchester City clash after injury worry – report

West Ham United forward Michail Antonio was pictured with an ice-pack after leaving the pitch against Spurs on Sunday evening.

The Irons mainstay sparked worries that he could be missing after his previous problems with hamstring injuries in the past.

Those rumours have remained despite Antonio being in the middle of the mad celebrations after Manuel Lanzini’s last-gasp equaliser.

Claret and Hugh have dispelled those rumours though, reporting that there were no injuries involved and he was replaced as a precaution.

The reliable club source claimed on their website that the 30-year-old will be available for the upcoming game against Manchester City.

Despite a full-blooded 90 minutes against their London rivals, it is suggested that David Moyes will have a full-strength squad to choose from for the next game.

Some bumps and bruises were reported, but nothing bad enough to rule them out from the next Premier League clash.

This will be another massive boost to squad morale at the London Stadium, something that will already be sky-high.

Antonio has become a key figure of this squad in the past year and has cemented his spot as the central striker under Moyes.

If the 30-year-old didn’t have previous injury worries, this wouldn’t have been questioned as much on Sunday, but thankfully he will be fine to start once again.

Antonio has scored twice already this season and will be looking to add to that total against Manchester City next time out.
