West Ham United fans will love Declan Rice image after Arsenal win v Ipswich
West Ham United supporters will love what Declan Rice has posted on social media after Arsenal’s 1-0 win against Ipswich Town.
The 25-year-old completed a mammoth £105million switch to North London from the Hammers in the summer of 2023 but has not been shy about his love for his former employers.
Rice posted on Instagram after Arsenal beat Ipswich Town 1-0 at Emirates Stadium on Friday (27 December), with former West Ham teammates Ben Johnson and David Martin in a nostalgic photo for the Irons faithful.
He said: “So good to see these two [Johnson and Martin]. Unbelievable memories with them.”
Declan Rice continues his West Ham United affiliation from afar
West Ham and Rice enjoyed the perfect week of Premier League football as Julen Lopetegui’s side themselves overcame Southampton at St Mary’s (26 December) in a 1-0 victory.
Jarrod Bowen scored the only goal of the game on the South Coast, and Rice has remained a vocal admirer of the Hammers captain’s efforts in East London this season.
The England international has not enjoyed his most productive campaign at the Emirates thus far this campaign, with his side six points adrift of Premier League leaders Liverpool with the Merseyside outfit boasting a game in hand.

He will forever be remembered by the supporters for delivering the UEFA Europa Conference League triumph in 2023 before his departure, and it appears his love affair with the Irons has continued long past his move across the capital.
Rice has been the crown jewel of Rush Green, and while his career took his talents away from the London Stadium, he clearly holds the time he spent with the Irons close to his heart.
In other West Ham news, the Hammers are preparing a £50m move for a La Liga star.
