Neil Moxley has slammed some of the West Ham fans for wanting David Moyes to leave the club this summer.

Writing on page 53 of the Sunday People's print edition on 21 April, the journalist highlighted how the Hammers have qualified for Europe three years in a row and claimed the Europa Conference League trophy last season.

He added that the Irons supporters should be "careful what you wish for", with speculation ongoing around the Scotsman's future at the London Stadium.

Could David Moyes leave West Ham this summer?

This is the same old line from Moxley that we've pretty much been hearing from several onlookers throughout this season.

Did they fork out their hard-earned money when we fielded a weakened team at Liverpool, lost 6-0 at home to Arsenal or blew a two-goal lead at Newcastle United? Of course not.

While there have been some great moments again during this campaign, there have been several disappointing performances, particularly in this calendar year.

This isn't a cut-and-dry situation. It's easy to just say be "careful what you wish for" without analysing the whole season and the way we've performed in a lot of games.

That isn't to say Moyes should necessarily leave this summer, it's just highlighting that people have a right to be frustrated about the way we've played at times, with many believing a change is needed.
