West Ham United: Fabrizio Romano drops Tim Steidten and David Moyes news with exit decision due

West Ham United will discuss David Moyes’s position at the London Stadium at the end of the season.

That is according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, who explained that it will take time for technical director Tim Steidten to make a decision on the manager.

The Hammers currently sit seventh in the Premier League table and are into the quarter-finals of the Europa League.

“No, I don’t have information that Tim Steidten is looking at any other candidates,” Romano wrote in his Daily Briefing.

“West Ham will discuss the manager’s position at the end of the season, it will take time before deciding the next steps and until then they keep going with Moyes. It will be an important final part of the season for West Ham’s future.”

Will David Moyes be at West Ham next season?

It remains to be seen what will happen with Moyes this summer, with the manager seemingly set to stay in the London Stadium dugout until at least then.

Remarkably, he has come under fire from many supporters of the club over the seasons, primarily due to his unexciting style of play.

But it has certainly produced many huge results, with the Hammers often finishing strong in the league under Moyes, as well as enjoying fantastic European success.

The latter did, of course, reach its peak with last season’s Europa Conference League trophy, but there are plenty of reasons to be excited once more given how strong the Hammers have been in the Europa League.
Another strong Premier League finish is on the cards, while German outfit Bayer Leverkusen now stand in their way in Europe.

Moyes must be praised for his work in the dugout, with Steidten surely having no complaints about the job he has done this season.
