West Ham United eyeing up move for Real Betis midfielder Nabil Fekir
West Ham United are eyeing up a move for Real Betis midfielder Nabil Fekir but will face stiff competition for his signature from Premier League rivals, according to fichajes.net.
Newcastle United and Arsenal are the two other Premier League teams mentioned in the report as being interested in the Frenchman.
The report claims that Fekir would be the “most expensive” sale ever in the history of Real Betis if he was to leave the Spanish club this summer.

According to the report, Newcastle are lining up a €45million [£39.4million] move for Fekir, which may tempt the Hammers into making their own move.
This is all despite the midfielder renewing his contract at Betis this summer.

Strange.
The links to Fekir are strange, he isn’t exactly needed in the Irons setup right now and there are other areas on the pitch where investment would be more welcomed.
He arguably could have given Fornals a run for his money, but he has been fantastic in recent outings and his upturn in form may sway West Ham away from a move.
Lucas Paqueta, Jarrod Bowen and Said Benrahma are all playing decent football right now too, so it’s hard to see where you could fit Fekir in.
Yes, there are no doubts that he is a terrific talent but there’s just no need for him in East London right now.
He’d be a solid squad player to bring into the fold when needed, but the Hammers aren’t going to spend anything near his rumoured €45 million price tag for a fringe talent.
It’s safe to say that this rumour can be put to bed unless any major injuries occur in the next few fixtures.
