West Ham United eye move for first-team analyst to provide tactical edge
West Ham are looking for a “High-level” first-team analyst who has a coaching degree as well an impeccable tactical understanding of the game.
As advertised for the role which can be viewed at Training Ground Guru, the Hammers want the candidate to work at Rush Green and travel with the team for all games.
The role would involve a comprehensive analysis of the opposition pre game and also during the game to give the side an edge over David Moyes’ opposite number.

Good addition
In the world of data science, it’s important that the Hammers stay on top of the developments and adapt to the times.
Having someone who can do a thorough analysis on the opposition players will not only help the side win games but could also help in recruitment.
The experience required is the use of many scouting tools which top level scouts use to analyse players as they cannot go and watch every single game.
We’re keen to see who the applicants for this role are as it’s quite a big position and will undoubtedly be a well-paid role.
Hopefully, the club make the correct call and he works well with Moyes as it’s going to be paramount that the two have a working relationship.
If we see the manager making changes that he normally does not, we will know that West Ham have successfully appointed someone.
