West Ham United duo showed their brilliance after substitute appearances against Anderlecht
Gianluca Scamacca and Lucas Paqueta both made cameo appearances for West Ham United in the UEFA Conference League on Thursday evening.
There had been shouts from fans for the pair to start the fixture, nevertheless, David Moyes opted for a mixed XI of experience and youth.
In what was a frantic game, the summer signings of Scamacca and Paqueta ultimately changed the tide of the fixture linking up for the only goal of the game in the 79th minute.

Pacqueta sublimely lobbed a ball through towards Scamacca, the Italian did what he does best, blasting the ball home and winning the game for West Ham United.
That wasn’t the only time the pair showcased their enchanting partnership, throughout their cameos the duo linked up, demonstrating what they can do for Moyes moving forward.
Michail Antonio got the nod to start and spearhead West Ham’s attack on the night but another Scamacca goal may prove to be the final factor in Moyes choosing to start the Italian in future games.
Especially after the blossoming partnership, he’s forming with Paqueta, Moyes must now start the pair together.

Necessity.
Starting Scamacca and Paqueta together moving forward into the crowded Premier League schedule is a necessity for Moyes and West Ham.
The duo are forming an enchanting partnership together, one which was on full display in the little time they had on the pitch in Thursday’s win 1-0 win over Anderlecht.
And it’s a partnership that can be truly deadly in the Premier League, it adds a flair to the Hammers attack that hasn’t been seen in years.
It will be a shame to see Antonio sink to bench duties, but the bottom line is that he hasn’t been good enough this season and Scamacca is in dangerous form.
Scamacca and Paqueta look like they’ve been playing together for years, so it’s no surprise the pair are striking up a formidable partnership.
It’s something the Hammers can rely on to propel them up the Premier League and coalition rivals will be fearsome in domestic games.
