Danny Murphy gushes over West Ham United duo Lucas Paqueta and Gianluca Scamacca
Danny Murphy sang the praises of West Ham United duo Lucas Paqueta and Gianluca Scamacca after the club’s 3-1 win over Fulham on Sunday afternoon.
The pair have come into the Hammers fold with huge expectations and were seen as West Ham’s two blockbuster summer signings.
Murphy admitted that West Ham United fans “are going to love” the duos link up play as the season progresses and expects the pairing to wreak havoc moving forward.
“The performance of Paqueta and Scamacca playing together, Paqueta especially playing his best game in a West Ham shirt, he was superb,” said Murphy speaking on MOTD2 (9 September, 49m10s).
“These two love playing together, that link up is growing and the fans are going to love watching these two play together.”

Murphy is spitting facts right here and it was nice to see Scamacca get his Premier League start alongside Paqueta in Sunday afternoon’s win.
The pair demonstrated their terrific link-up play in Thursday evening’s UEFA Europa Conference League clash against Anderlecht.
Now it seems they are finally going to get a string of games playing alongside each other to prove their worth to David Moyes.
The duo really look like they could have a menacing partnership for the Hammers and it’s mouthwatering to think what could be achieved once they’ve played more than a handful of games together.
Their good performances have obviously contributed to West Ham’s change in fortunes, maybe they both just needed a bit of time to settle into Premier League life.
Scamacca is looking like a real goalscoring threat and with the class of Paqueta behind him to assist his every need, the pair could grab an abundance of goals this season.
