West Ham United draw up plans for David Moyes interim replacement as sack looms
West Ham United have drawn up plans to find an interim replacement for David Moyes if he is sacked by the club, according to Claret and Hugh.
The Scotsman has not been able to conjure up the results expected at the London Stadium with the Irons sat 16th in the Premier League, one point clear of the drop zone.
After the board spent upwards of £150million in the summer to try and take the club to the next level, David Gold, David Sullivan and Daniel Kretinsky’s patience are wearing thin at the lack of results.

There is now a feeling around the club that Moyes’ time as West Ham manager is running out and there are now plans being put in place should the trigger be pulled.
The Hammers’ new director of football, Mark Noble, would be placed in interim charge of the first team should Moyes be relieved of his duties with no obvious replacement out of work right now.
Too soon
Things may not have gone how Gold, Sullivan and Kretinsky had envisaged but there is still an awful lot of football to be played this season so there is no need to be hasty with such a big decision.
It should not be forgotten or swept under the carpet that Moyes has led the Irons to consecutive European qualifications and a perfect run of six wins from six in the Conference League is not easy at all.

If the return to the Premier League sees more disappointing results and performances then it might be time to question his position at the helm.
But if he does get sacked, then a new person has to be hired permanently and fast because Noble has not got anywhere near the experience required to take on such a big job straight away.
There are very good managers available if the owners are willing to make the effort to get them to Rush Green.
