Double West Ham United transfer on cards if Declan Rice leaves in summer
West Ham United will need to sign two players to replace the hole that will be left by midfielder Declan Rice should he leave the club, according to journalist Dean Jones.
A Rice switch away from the Hammers seems inevitable at this point and it’s something the club are obviously preparing to combat this summer.
Jones confessed that West Ham United will need to sign two players to “replace everything” Rice does for the team if he leaves the London Stadium.

“To be honest, I think if you’re going to replace Declan Rice, you probably need to sign two players to replace everything that he brings to West Ham,” said Jones as quoted by GIVEMESPORT.
Rice has never actually given any concrete evidence that he will leave West Ham United but the star’s rising power is currently outgrowing the team.

Not easy.
It isn’t easy to replace talents like Rice and he would undoubtedly leave a massive hole in the Hammers setup should he choose to leave the club.
Nevertheless, there are talents West Ham United can target and the club’s pulling power in the transfer market has arguably never been better, this helps massively.
Moroccan World Cup star Sofyan Amrabat is an interesting proposition for a potential Rice replacement and looks like the kind of talent who could come in and hit the ground running.
An out-there shout would be Manchester City’s out-of-favour midfielder Kalvin Phillips, the Hammers were linked with him last summer and could renew their interest in him again.
Whoever comes in has a big job on their hands, not only do they have to perform as well as Rice on the pitch, but also replace his leadership skills off it in the dressing room.
The Irons must get a move on with identifying replacements, they would be foolish not to right now.
