West Ham United: David Moyes set to agree new two-and-a-half year contract at the London Stadium
David Moyes is set to sign a new two-and-a-half-year contract with West Ham, according to the Sun reporter Jack Rosser.
The Scot’s current deal at the London Stadium is set to expire in June and there has been plenty of speculation that West Ham might look to appoint a replacement.
But with the club sitting sixth in the Premier League after a 2-0 win over high-flying Arsenal on Thursday (28 December) and having led the club to Europa Conference League glory last season, Moyes is in line for a new deal.
Posting on X (29 December), Rosser wrote: “Exclusive – David Moyes set to sign new 2.5 year deal at West Ham.”

Isn’t it funny how things turn out?
On more than one occasion last season it looked as though Moyes might be set for the chop as the Hammers flirted with relegation and underwhelmed in the Premier League.
But their form in Europe probably kept him in a job and that night in Prague ended a 43-year wait for a trophy at West Ham, to cement his legacy at the club forever.
Moreover, they are playing in their third straight season in European football – a fantastic feat considering the level of competition in the Premier League right now.
It always seemed extremely harsh that Moyes’ position was under threat, and the qualms of some supporters seems to be more with the pragmatic style of football rather than results – but you sense things could be a lot worse without him.
This now puts the speculation to bed and allows the Hammers to start planning for the long term.
