West Ham United could target Rangers’ Glen Kamara ahead of Alex Kral
West Ham United could target Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara ahead of Alex Kral this summer, according to Give Me Sport.
The Spartak Moscow ace has been on the Hammers radar ahead of the European Championship, but the club have been taking a deeper look into Kamara’s statistics and have asked Rangers about potential terms.
West Ham developed an interest in the 25-year-old Finland international over the course of the Euros, and are now keen on a deal.

Kamara over Kral
Irons boss David Moyes praised the Czech Republic international ahead of Euro 2020, including the Spartak Moscow ace in his Sunday Times column as one of the ‘magnificent seven players’ to keep an eye on this summer.
However, Kral had a tournament to forget, failing to impress in any of his country’s three group stages.
There is every chance West Ham will turn their attention to other targets [The Athletic] , and Kamara appears to have moved up on our wishlist for the summer.
Being a Scottish Premiership player, not many expected the former Arsenal youth player to catch everyone’s attention at the EUROs, but he has done exactly that.

Kamara made most interceptions per game (3.3) during the entirety of the group stages [WhoScored], and we believe he could be a perfect fit for the Hammers midfield.
With Mark Noble entering into his last season as a player, we need a long-term replacement capable of covering for Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek in the middle of the park, and the Light Blues ace has the potential and talents.
He has proven to be a better midfielder than Kral, and signing a player from the Premiership would not cost an arm and a leg.
In other West Ham news, another Hammers player wants to re-join former club.
