West Ham United could submit offer for Ross Barkley before deadline
West Ham United could submit an offer for Ross Barkley in the next 48 hours, as per ExWHUemployee.
Writing on his Patreon (30 August), the reliable Hammers source suggested that if Barkley makes “reasonable contract suggestions”, the Hammers are likely to make an offer.
Barkley is a free agent at the moment after he left Chelsea on mutual terms.

David Moyes suggested on Tuesday (30 August) that he won’t rule out a move for Barkley.
Interesting move
This has been a massive transfer window for West Ham, as they signed as many as eight new players.
The club have made some big-money signings, and they are expected to do well this season, once the new players get used to Moyes’ system.
Barkley would be a gamble signing for the Hammers, and Moyes should look to bring him to the squad if the England midfielder is willing to pay a massive pay cut.

The 28-year-old must understand that not many clubs are willing to take a big gamble on him.
There is a chance now for him to play under Moyes, the manager who gave him his debut and made him a better player.
This is probably also Barkley’s best chance to get into a top side, and play regularly. His move to Chelsea didn’t work out well for him, but he must choose his next club wisely.
It won’t come as a surprise if Moyes makes a calculated gamble and sign Barkley.
