West Ham United could secure ‘double benefit’ by signing Arnaut Danjuma in January
West Ham could be back in the race to sign Villarreal winger Arnaut Danjuma in the January window, as reported by ExWHUemployee.
The reliable Hammers source shared on Patreon (11 January) that Danjuma is now available for a loan move until the summer, and it could suit the club perfectly.
A host of clubs have expressed an interest in the player including Everton. The Toffees are fighting for survival like the Hammers, and therefore the club would reap a “double benefit” by signing him.

Danjuma would be a foreign loan signing which means the Hammers could still make two domestic loan signings.
Cornet conundrum
The Hammers were heavily linked with a move for Danjuma in the summer transfer window but David Moyes had doubts about him.
The club signed Maxwell Cornet instead from Burnley. Cornet has barely featured for the club, and he has spent his time on the treatment table so far.
It is unknown when he can return and it could force the club to bring someone in the January window.
The Hammers are really struggling in the Premier League and Moyes needs more depth and quality in the attacking areas.

Danjuma enjoyed a brilliant 2021-22 campaign where he scored 10 goals in La Liga for the Yellow Submarines. He has underperformed so far, managing just two goals in six starts in the Spanish league.
Capable of playing as a striker and also on the left flank, Danjuma on loan would be a smart signing for the club.
It is not clear at the moment whether the Hammers are indeed interested in signing him after knowing that he is available in the market, but the possibility of moving for him cannot be ruled out completely.
