West Ham United could face huge loss on Nikola Vlasic
West Ham could face a huge loss on midfielder Nikola Vlasic, according to Claret and Hugh.
David Moyes is more than happy to offload the midfielder who has badly struggled to make an impact at the London Stadium.
Vlasic joined the club for a fee of around £27 million. However, it’s highly doubtful any club will be willing to spend even a quarter of that amount to sign him in the summer.

Disaster
Vlasic has badly struggled at the club, and chances are high that he would be sold.
He made just six starts in the Premier League and scored only one goal last season. His performance has been below par in most of the games and has proved to be a very poor signing from the club.
Vlasic signed a five-year contract when he arrived. He has a contract until 2026. It remains to be seen if any club take him on loan with a view to making it permanent.

West Ham have previously sold big-money players on huge losses. For instance, Sebastien Haller and Felipe Anderson come to mind.
Both the players became the club’s record signings, but they were sold at a modicum fee. In the case of Haller, at least the Hammers recouped almost half of the fee.
The same can’t be said about Vlasic. His performance was so poor that not many clubs around Europe would be willing to take a gamble on him.
In other West Ham news, an offer has been made to make a behind-the-scenes appointment at the club.
