West Ham United could be tempted into formal bid for Ben Brereton-Diaz

West Ham United may be tempted into a formal bid for Blackburn striker Ben Brereton-Diaz in the near future, according to Claret and Hugh.

The online source have reported on their website that David Moyes has drawn up a list of candidates as the Irons look to bring in a new striker at the London Stadium.

Chelsea ace Armando Broja currently remains top of that list but is said to be heading out to America with our London rivals for their pre-season tour.

Brereton-Daiz has emerged as a backup option to Broja should things go south.

It is shared that West Ham are keeping a very close eye on developments regarding the Chilean international, who has been strongly linked with a move to Italy recently.

Moyes is crying out for reinforcements to help Michail Antonio, who still remains the only out-and-out senior forward at the London Stadium to this date.

West Ham

Desperate.

West Ham United are crying out for more options in the final third.

How we have made it through nearly two complete seasons without a second senior striker is beyond us, especially given how injury-prone Antonio can actually be.

Brereton-Diaz has been on fire for years now in the Championship, and his contract running down has seen his pricetag also drop dramatically.

A fee of £25million has been previously mooted, but Blackburn would be silly to hold out for a price like that given he could walk for nothing once this season has finished.

For someone who has never really made it in the Premier League, it would be hard to find a club willing to pay that cash, especially someone run by GSB.

This is certainly one to watch, and if a deal for Broja doesn’t gather pace soon, we could see that formal bid being fired from the London Stadium.
