West Ham United could be signing Axel Disasi as Mark Noble jets out on Monaco mission – ExWHUemployee
West Ham insider ExWHUemployee has revealed that Hammers sporting director Mark Noble looking to establish a relationship with Monaco amid transfer interest in Axel Disasi, following his recent visit to France.
The former West Ham midfielder was previously spotted [11 February] attending the Ligue 1 clash between Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday evening.
With plans now in progress for the next transfer window, according to GFFN [11 February], Noble was in attendance for one of the biggest games in the division but it was unclear who he was watching from the stands.

However, Hammers’ insider Ex has provided clarity on that front. Speaking on The West Ham Way podcast [14 February], he explained the reason behind Noble’s trip.
He said: “Mark Noble was a guest at the Monaco-PSG game.
“He does know Monaco sporting director Paul Mitchell there, was invited as a result of [the relationship between] him and the Monaco sort of hierarchy.
“That was to get to know the role of sporting director, but also as a way of establishing strong links between us and Monaco. With the potential signing of Disasi – a French centre-back that we were looking at previously – and he could be one that we’d look to sign.”
The East Londoners have previously been linked with the French defender before, with the Daily Mail [5 January] reporting that Manchester United, Tottenham and West Ham are the Premier League clubs keeping tabs on the player, with the 24-year-old expected to leave the Stade Louis this summer.
Get him in
It is no secret that centre-back is a problem position for the Hammers with David Moyes constantly chopping and changing his options because of frequent injury troubles.
All of Angelo Ogbonna, Nayef Aguerd, Thilo Kehrer and Kurt Zouma have all endured spells on the sideline this campaign and Moyes has also had to deal with the loss of veteran Craig Dawson who left to join Wolverhampton Wanderers last month.

Dawson will certainly need replacing this summer, as will their defensive options need revitalisation with the likes of Ogbonna facing an uncertain future. Disasi incredibly fits the bill and is a profile the club should be prioritising this summer.
A strong, towering and composed presence on the ball, the French defender is on course to continue his great development wherever he ends up next, and the Hammers should act on their temptation and attempt to bring him to East London, as he could become a leading figure for the club for a number of years.
Noble clearly knows his players if Disasi was the subject of his trip which means the club are in good and capable hands when it comes to recruitment this summer. Get him in.
