West Ham United could be forced into Maxwel Cornet change after injury
West Ham United could be forced into dropping Maxwel Cornet this week, according to Football London.
The online source has reported on its website that the Ivorian picked up an injury when winning a penalty in the Conference League win over FCSB last time out.
With a trip to Silkeborg coming up on Thursday, quickly followed by the clash at Everton, Cornet is likely to miss one as he looks to return to full fitness.

Writing in their latest report, Football London shared the news that many will likely be disappointed with after his bright start to life in the capital.
“One change from that could be forced in Maxwel Cornet,” they wrote.
“The Ivorian won the penalty that led to the equalising goal against the Romanians but in doing so was forced off through injury.”

Typical.
This is just how the season has started for West Ham United so far.
Poor results on the pitch have started to get better in the Premier League and in Europe, but we can’t seem to get away from this dreadful injury record.
Aaron Cresswell, Tomas Soucek and Ben Johnson were the latest casualties to join Nayef Aguerd on the sidelines, but that has grown yet again.
Cornet has been one of the standout figures since making the move to the London Stadium and should have been rewarded with that equaliser at Chelsea but we’ll try not to get into that.
Instead, he has been handed this latest injury blow at a time when it really started to look like he would become more of a constant fix in this side with some starts.
Hopefully, it isn’t too bad and he can be back in action in one of these next two games before the international break, if not, it’s going to be a long three weeks for him.
